Blue was returned through no fault of his own. Just life changes in his family. I accepted him back in April 2023. The transition was hard for him and I am only just now considering rehoming him and only to a home that fits his needs.

- Since I already had a dog named Blue he answers to Sparty now.
- He is a big boy - 50 lbs. He is 5 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, etc.
- He is energetic and loves to run - must have a yard.
- Would make a great running or hiking partner.
- Good recall. Knows basic sit, down, and 'easy' when taking a treat.
- Good traveler in the car.
- Good on a leash around town, at the park, Tractor Supply, etc.
- He is good in the house, housebroken and calm.
- He is chill with the cat.
- He does fine with my spayed female dogs.
- He grew up with kids but I don't know how he feels now.
- He does not like some strangers - no clear pattern.
- Once bonded to you he is very loving and will want to be with his person.

Any rehome would need to be relatively local to me. I will only rehome to an experienced dog person that has the knowledge and skills to help him make the transition. There would also be a trial period.
